The threading die should screw onto the workpiece's thread manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (rejected). All workpieces and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration, independent of VÖLKEL's production, follows specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC thread scanners.

• Threading Failure Indicator: If the ring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
• Reference Temperature: The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C
