Art No: BV570H-C – Bench Top LEV Unit (Carbon Filter)
The BenchVent BV570H-C, a desktop LEV unit designed primarily for delicate application such as weighing powders and mixing chemicals.
What’s included with the BV570H-C?
- Filter unit with fan(s)
- PETG Clear hinged Hood Enclosure
- Fibre filter
- Activated Carbon Filter
- Power Lead
- Data/Warranty Booklet
Where can the BV570H-C desktop fume cabinet be used?
The BenchVent BV570H-C is designed for use in numerous situations where external venting is impractical but local exhaust ventilation is necessary. It’s specifically designed to filtrer fumes, vapour and light particulates coming from:
- Conformal coatings
It will also filter light grinding particles, dusts and organic solvents.
The weighing and handling of potentially harmful chemicals, applying adhesives, cleaning solvents, and using small grinding tools etc is carried out within the hood and cleaned air is vented to the right rear of the cabinet. The BV570H-C Hood has a hinged lid which is handy when users need to move items within the hood, like repositioning weigh scales and the likes.
This unit is designed for immediate operator protection from concentrations of airborne contaminants whereby all gases, fumes, vapours and particulates within the hood enclosure are filtered and cleaned air is exhausted to the right rear of the cabinet. This model has been designed to be quiet in operation and can be assembled in seconds. Place onto a desk, bench or trolley and then simply plug in and switch on.
- Hinged lid to assist in positioning products
- Particulate pre-filter followed by high grade bonded carbon filter for adsorption
- Clear PETG plastic fume hood

All BenchVent fume filtration and extraction systems carry a lifetime warranty.
How does this desktop fume cabinet filter contaminants?
The BV570H-C is fitted with a pre-filter to 15-20 microns followed by a 3.5 kg high grade bonded carbon filter for hydrocarbon (organic solvent, gas) adsorption. Through the process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced or eliminated.
Demonstrating adequate control of the risks to the health of employees students and the general public, from dusts, powders, mists, fumes and vapours is the fundamental requirement of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH). For LEV information for employers visit the HSE website.
