DentalEX Aerosol Extraction Unit
DentalEX is designed to capture and filter aerosols produced during dental procedures. It offers dental professionals an extra layer of protection against airborne particles that may contain deadly viruses such as Covid. It features an easy to use multi position arm, which makes it easy to slot straight into the dental work place. There’s no need for complicated installation.
DentalEX is designed and manufactured in the UK providing the quality and reliability that is required in a busy dental setting.
How can DentalEX protect you?
The heavy duty activated carbon filter will adsorb a large amount of odours produced in the dental industry.
According to WHO March 2020 scientific brief, viruses like Covid19, is primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets and contact route. Droplet transmission is possible in specific circumstances and settings where procedures generating aerosols are performed e.g. open suctioning, oral dental cleaning. DentalEX can protect you by capturing the droplets at source and filtering the particles to reduce the opportunity of infecting other equipment and personnel.
DentalEX is fitted with H14 HEPA filters, which is proven to filter 99.997% of particles below 0.3 microns.
HEPA filters exceeds the 95% filtration that HN95 masks offer. Its level of filtration matches that of FFP3/N100.
