Description

Art No: BV660H-C – Recirculating Fume Cabinet

The BenchVent BV660H-C a re-circulatory hood mounted filtration cabinet with a high-efficiency carbon filter specifically designed to provide local exhaust ventilation in areas where it’s not possible to use ducted LEV unit or fume filtration cabinet. This unit has a similar specification as the BV660H-D, but features a higher-efficiency carbon filter which cleans the air before circulating it back in the room.

BV660H-C Applications:

The BV660H-C is for use in areas where external venting is impractical and hydrocarbon vapor and gas filtration is necessary. This unit is capable of filtering fumes, vapours and particles from:

  • Electrochemils (cleaning solvents, conformal coatings, etc)
  • Resins
  • Seatlant and adhesives both in aerosol and static form
  • Solder pots and soler irons

The BV660H-C is also used in orthopedics and dental laboratories to control staff exposure to methyl methacrylate and cyanoacrylate adhesives. It’s also used to for safe weighing of hazardous powders.

Key Features of BV660H-C:

  • Clear polycarbonate panel for protection
  • Hood lighting
  • Large capacity making it ideal for a wide range of uses

What’s included with the BV660H-C?

  • Filter unit with centrifugal fan
  • Hood Enclosure
  • Hood Light
  • Polycarbonate hinged front panel
  • 1 x Particulate filter
  • 1 x Activated Carbon Filter
  • Power Lead
  • Data/Warranty Booklet

Dimension:

  • 670 x 525 x 450 (wxhxd) [internal]
  • 680 x 600  x 450 (wxhxd) [overall]

Lifetime Guarantee on this Hooded Filtration Cabinet

All BenchVent filtration and extraction systems carry a lifetime guarantee, giving customers full peace of mind when it comes to providing a cleaner and healthier working environment for both employees, customers and students.

High Quality Filtration and Filters

The particulate (intake) filter is a three stage graduated fibre filter with a high ‘dust’ holding capacity for long life. Filtration to 5 micron particles. (Optional EPA filters available). This is followed by a high grade bonded carbon filter. Through the process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced or eliminated. These units are designed for immediate operator protection from concentrations of airborne contaminants whereby all gases, fumes, vapours and particulates within the hood enclosure are filtered and cleaned air is exhausted to the top rear of the cabinet.

Demonstrating adequate control of the risks to the health of employees students and the general public, from dusts, powders, mists, fumes and vapours is the fundamental requirement of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH). For LEV information for employers visit the HSE website.
