Part No: P1002-C – Dual Speed Primary A2 Recirculating Air Carbon Filtration Unit
The P1002-C is a large dual-speed filtration unit with high-efficiency carbon filter inside. It is designed to offer local exhaust ventilation for large projects, and immediate operator protection when external venting isn’t possible.
Additionally, the P1002-C also provides operators with a safe workstation for handling potential harmful chemicals. All processes are done under or beside the fan unit in front of the intake filter area.
This extraction unit serves the purpose to sit on top or behind a bespoke hood or surround. It enables users to design and construct hoods/enclosures/benches to suit their particular requirements.
The unit can be positioned at any angle offering total flexibility of enclosure design.
This unit is suitable for use in dental & medical laboratories, pharmaceutical labs, school science laboratories, design and research laboratories and electronic manufacturing.
P1002-C Applications:

High Quality Filtration
The particulate (intake) filter is a three stage graduated fibre filter with a high ‘dust’ holding capacity for long life. Filtration to 5 micron particles. (Optional HEPA filters available to approx 0.3 micron particles). This is followed by a high grade bonded carbon filter. Through the process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced or eliminated.
Demonstrating adequate control of the risks to the health and safety of employees, students and the general public, from dusts, powders, mists, fumes and vapours is the fundamental requirement of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH).
