The BenchVent BV200H-D A2 ducted hood mounted extraction cabinet is a general purpose workstation for light aerosol spray and airbrush use. It is designed to capture dust and eliminate fumes/vapours for a safer working environment that meets the CoSHH regulations.

Application includes filtration of:

• Aerosol adhesives (glue booth for Spray Mount)
• Aerosol lacquers and fixatives
• Airbrush sprays applied to artwork up to A2 size. Place A2 drawing boards into the hood at an angle to capture overspray efficiently.

The workstation hood also accommodates prototypes, models, ceramic parts, PCBs, and other items, which you can spray, solder, clean, glue, mould, or sand directly on the hood base.

These cabinets not only maintain cleanliness in studios, classrooms, and workshops but also protect operators by first filtering out ‘large’ particulates (>5 microns) and then exhausting ‘fine’ particulates (<5 microns), along with odours, gases, vapours, and fumes, safely to the atmosphere through the flexi-duct.

All BenchVent filtration and extraction systems carry a lifetime guarantee, are quiet in operation and can be assembled in seconds. Place onto a desk, bench or trolley and then simply plug in and switch on. For artwork applications, place standard A2 drawing boards directly inside the hood enclosure.

Position the boards at an angle to capture overspray efficiently. Place 3D items, models, printed circuit boards, and other objects directly on the hood base for spraying, cleaning, sanding, or gluing. Attach the flexi-duct to a standard domestic vent or thread it through a partially open window for easy portability and convenience.

How does the filter system work?

The particulate (intake) filter features a three-stage graduated fibre design with a high dust-holding capacity, providing long-lasting performance. Filtration to approx. 5 micron particles. NB: Spray particulate sizes vary from 10 to 20 microns. Through the dual process of filtration followed by extraction to the atmosphere via the flexi-duct, the system not only significantly reduces but can also eliminate operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances.
