Designed as a small spray trap, the Exagon-R is a multi-position, multifunction rigid ABS plastic spraybooth. Specifically designed for filtration/extraction/dilution of model sprays, light grinding particles, spray adhesives and other airborne sprays.

Spray onto Artwork or 3D models or work near the intake when soldering, air is drawn into the front of the unit and the air is cleaned and filtered to be extracted back into the environment abiding by HSE 258 and Coshh regulations.

Description :

Rigid ABS Plastic construction, finished in black – multi position shape – carry handle – standard 5 micron particulate filters – axial fan, brushless, UL, VDE and CSA approved – sealed electrical wiring and switch, downstream of filters.

Operation :

All BV filtration and extraction systems carry a lifetime warranty on the fans, these are quiet in operation and can be assembled in seconds. Place in position then simply plug in and switch on.

These units can be used in 3 positions:

Upright position: Filtration/extraction/dilution of model sprays and airbrush spray as well as light grinding particles on models and 3D objects placed in front of the filter air intake.

Reclining Position: Filtration/extraction/dilution of spray adhesives and aerosol lacquers, fixatives and airbrush spray on artwork placed directly onto the filter

Filter Down Position: Extraction/Dilution of solder fume and contaminants other that propelled airborne sprays. Work near intake, air is drawn in from front and side of the unit.

Filtration :

The particulate (intake) filter is a three stage graduated fibre filter with a high ‘dust’ holding capacity for long life. Filtration to 5 micron particles. NB: Spray particulate sizes vary from 10 to 20 microns.
The dual process of filtration and then extraction vastly reduces operator exposures to potentially hazardous substances abiding by COSHH and HSE executives.

These units are ducted and designed predominantly as a small “spray trap” for studio/workshop cleanliness and for immediate operator protection from concentrations of airborne contaminants.
The Exagon is not designed for production applications and continual use especially in confined and/or badly ventilated areas. Please see our other products for higher specification applications.
